World Export Conference

The World Export Conference (WEC), held under the Globe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will bring together over 1000 business Exporters, policymakers and trade development officials to address international business Export issues and profile international investment in Ethiopia.

Co-hosted by the Trade Nigeria (TN) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry this year’s World Export Conference will take place at the African Union headquarters

The sessions for the World Export Conference are designed to help business and other exporters make the most of the newly-ratified African Continental Free Trade Agreement by including a wide range of topics such as value addition, addressing the skills mismatch, sustainable packaging and more. 

The event will put the accent on women and youth through a SheTrades Global event and a YES! Forum – a unique platform for youth entrepreneurship and self-employment. 

A business-to-business matchmaking platform will offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to forge new business deals in agribusiness.
